Alyssa "Ajay" Junious

Ajay is a San Diego based choreographer, movement consultant and teaching artist. She has over 10 years of experience working professionally in the concert dance, musical theatre, and commercial industry. 

 

She received a B.F.A in Performance and Choreography from the University of California, Irvine and will complete an M.F.A in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University in 2026. 

 

As a San Diego based professional dancer and theater artist she has worked with several esteemed professional dance companies and theaters. Credits include: La Jolla Playhouse, Cygnet Theater, Diversionary Theater, New Village Arts, San Diego Musical Theatre, Oceanside Theater Company, Teatro San Diego, San Diego Dance Theatre and PGK Dance Project. 

 

Her choreography and movement consulting is influenced by her extensive training in dance, music, and theatre. Below are art institutions, theaters and dance companies who have commissioned her work.
